Why Our Heaters Could Be Perfect For You
Cheap to run and easy to install, our tubular heaters are a great option for loft conversions.
Loft conversions add lots of room to a home, and are a great way of utilising an underused space. They can be used as living space, a hobby room or put to use as an extra bedroom. Loft conversions often add to the value of a home too, which is why they’re such a popular option for property owners. One of the challenges that come with a loft conversion though, is keeping it warm. That’s where we come in! We’ve been making our tubular heaters since 1948, and as the popularity of loft conversions has grown, we’ve found that our heaters are the perfect way to keep them warm all winter.
The main selling point of a tubular heater is that it’s incredibly cheap to install and run. Coming in at just a fraction of what a fan heater or gas central heating system would cost, it’s a great option for those who are looking to reduce their heating costs. Thanks to their low wattage, they’re perfect to provide some much needed background heat. If you couple your new tubular heaters with insulation, you’ll find that your bills will come in at an even lower price – and your loft conversion will stay even warmer!
Our tubular heaters are incredibly easy to install too. Their slimline shape means that they’re really suited to use in rooms where space is at a premium. In a loft conversion, where some areas have very little ceiling height, these kinds of heaters are ideal. Our heaters come in a range of different sizes and wattages, from 60W (1ft) all the way up to 360W (6ft). If you’re not sure which one is suitable for your loft conversion, ask a member of our friendly and knowledgeable team for advice. With such an extensive range on offer, there’s guaranteed to be a heater that’s perfect for you.
No more condensation
Condensation can occur in loft conversions. One of the simplest ways of preventing condensation is to just keep the room warm. As you may be aware, loft conversions can be tricky to heat. Our tubular heaters, despite their slim size, give off a lot of warmth. So you can keep your loft conversion free of damp, peeling wallpaper and mould, leaving you free to enjoy it in complete comfort.

Is A Tubular Heater an expensive way of heating a loft conversion?
No, it’s quite the opposite actually! If you need a way to heat your loft conversion cheaply, a tubular heater is one of the best choices you can make as it only needs to be plugged and can be attached to the wall to provide heat to the room.
Tubular heaters can cost as little as half a penny an hour to run, which is much cheaper than many other heating methods. For example oil-filled radiators and halogen heaters can cost as much as 30p an hour to run!
Are Tubular Heaters safe?
We supply tubular heater guards that are specially fitted for our tubular heaters to help protect from direct contact with a tubular heater if you are worried about any accidental burns. We recommend these if they will be within reach of children or could be knocked into.
These guards have an open grid design, so heat can still distribute easily throughout the room so investing in one of these will have no impact on the heating benefits of your tubular heater.
Can I programme Tubular Heaters like central heating?
If you have opted to invest in tubular heaters for your loft conversion, you can feel confident you won’t miss out on the benefits you would expect from central heating. By investing in one of our compatible thermostats, you can control the temperature and set running times to make for a comfortable atmosphere in the morning and evening or overnight.
This all helps to create a living space that is practical and comfortable at a fraction of the price.
